Where's Trish?
By Chip Houser

When the spaceships appeared, we ran inside. We watched the Johnsons and their son Bobby, standing in their front yard, waving like fools, until a ship turned them into pink goo and sucked them up.
Inside, Janet asked why Trish wasn’t with them. Then poor little Janet liquified, rising to pool on the ceiling. Her goo raced around, searching for a way out.
The rest of us hid in the basement. When Bill liquified, his goo split between several joists. He looked like pink insulation.
We decided it was better to stick together, so we went outside and started waving.
